The purpose of our blog is to connect with other caregivers. I am a member of a mutual support group/chat for caregivers who have come together every morning and evening for support. Caregiving is a rewarding experience, but often caregivers experience burnout, stress, depression, and difficulty maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We can speak from experience. While caring for our loved ones, there is little time to care for ourselves. Providing a safe place to talk to other caregivers for social and emotional support is essential. Finding times for socializing with friends, shopping, and other enjoyable activities takes time and effort. This chat is a lovely small caring group of chat friends.
