Fill Your Own Cup First

It’s Thursday, and before the day starts pulling at you, here’s a gentle reminder: fill your own cup first.

So many of us start the morning already in motion — meds to sort, breakfast to make for someone else, a call to return, a schedule to hold. It’s easy to realize at noon that you haven’t had a sip of water or a bite to eat yourself.

You matter in this too. Your body is doing real, demanding work every day.

So today, try one small thing for you:

  • A full glass of water before the coffee
  • Breakfast, even a simple one
  • A slow stretch while the kettle heats
  • A short walk with your pup, or just a few minutes outside

None of this is selfish. Caring for your body is caring for the ones you love, because they need you rested and fed too.

What’s your morning fuel? I’d love to hear what helps you start the day. 💛
