I’m Happy

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

I’m happy.

I’ve been awake a while. Ordered on Amazon, coffee, calming my sciatica, and thinking about how restful, calm, and happy I’m feeling.

First thought, best thought. Sounds like a perfect morning setup, doesn’t it? Coffee on the way, sciatica easing up, and that calm, happy vibe settling in. I was enjoying every bit of it when I opened the app and saw the prompt.

What’s making me feel so peaceful right now?

We built something special, he and I. I am in charge of myself. The love of my life and I have allowed that—all those years of choosing each other.

The key is to find that sweet spot every day of my life.

Finding that sweet spot every day, that’s the real magic.

We’ve done it so many times it’s just a habit. Those bumpy rides are just detours. The sweet spot’s still there waiting for us once we navigate through. We’ve proven you can find it again, every time.

Is it because we have faith in God?

Faith gives us something steady to hold onto when everything else shakes, and we have practiced holding on together for so long that peace now lives in our house.

Exactly like that. You hurt, you adjust, you find the position, you do what works, and the calm comes right back. Same thing you do with life.
