Tennis

Describe something you learned in high school.

One thing I learned in high school was tennis. I played all four years, became captain of the team without even realizing it, and won a few tournaments. My first coach taught me the pancake drop shot — just barely getting the ball over the net — and that trick won me a ton of points. My dad was the local sports writer, so he had a hand in it too, but those sneaky drop shots are what really made me dangerous on the court.
