Waking up to the sound of the garage opening. He is home safe and sound from his night job. I get up shuffle around a bit with the dogs, and give him a hug as he walks out the door for his day job. Being retired has it’s perks. Staying home is a luxury. He comes home from work and we are out to dinner or he brings something home, or we eat what’s in the house. He’s in bed at 7:00 well he actualy falls asleep on the couch while i snuggle with the dogs and chat in our nightly caregiver chat room. He slips into bed and slips out for his night job 8 hours later. Life is good and I feel blessed every day.
