The anxiety my Dad is feeling is real and needed to be controlled before he endangered his life and lives around him. Its understandable because he used to be in control of everything. Protective services visited because someone noticed Dad’s behavior and may have thought we were abusing him. It wasn’t until his friend fell when Dad called him for a ride that someone took notice. We had to call the ambulance for his 86 year old friend and he was ok after a few weeks. After that incident, and my constant calls to the doctor, Trazadone was prescribed and Citalopram. It’s been better now after he’s been on it for a year, but I wonder if we shouldn’t increase the dose.
