I went to Vegas for a few days and on Mom’s bath day, Dad was very impatient with Mom’s caregiver. She was waxing Mom’s chin and Dad enters the kitchen. He waited and muttered a few words which let us know he was totally frustrated. It was time for a break before they went to the den to watch their movie. They usually relax for a good 15-30 min. with a nap. Time was slipping away and he always wants to finish the movie by lunch and Mom was not ready. He proceeded to approach the caregiver and nudge her with his walker which totally surprised her. She quickly stopped what she was doing and went around the table to get out of Dad’s way. She helped Mom to the bedroom and everything was peaceful from then on, but the caregiver was very surprised by his behavior. Both caregivers were there and Dad’s caregiver witnessed the whole thing.

At this time, Dad was taking his medication for anxiety at noon. I sincerely believe he should be taking it in the morning.
